The carved pumpkins pop beautifully against that deep black, and the bats are subtle enough to work for more than just Halloween. I’ve already got a cushion cover in mind and the fabric feels sturdy for a quilting weight.

The raven detail in the design is what sold me—the way it contrasts against that jet black backdrop feels properly spooky without being cartoonish. The fabric has a nice weight to it, not too flimsy, and it held up well through my first sewing project. I’m already planning a second yard for curtains
