The Royal Blue Aida is such a rich backdrop, it makes the moonlight stitches pop beautifully. Started it last weekend and already hooked on how the pattern brings that spooky scene to life.

The 20 different floss colors really make the little creatures pop against the royal blue Aida. I finished it in about a week of evening stitching and already ordered a second one for my sister.

I've never stitched on 14 count Aida before and the holes are big enough that I'm not squinting at midnight anymore. Twenty floss colors means a lot of switching, but the shading on the little monster's face is worth it. Halfway done and already planning where to hang it.
