I was pleasantly surprised by how well the lightning strikes and stars pattern shows up on this dark violet base. It adds just the right spooky touch to my Halloween costume without being too over-the-top.

The mottled dark violet is even better in person, with the clouds and lightning subtly shifting in the light. It’s got a nice, sturdy drape that held up well through my quilting project, and the stars pop just enough without being loud.

I bought this to make a witch costume for my daughter, and those scattered purple clouds and lightning strikes give it such a spooky, playful look. The fabric is a bit lighter weight than I expected, but it drapes beautifully for a cape.
